Placing an Order

Where cakes are not paid for online, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the final cost of the cake must be made at the time of ordering. The balance for wedding cakes must be paid three weeks before the wedding date if paying by card or when the final viewing of the cake is made if paying by cash. For all other types of cake, the balance can be paid upon your receipt of the cake

Prices
N.B.

The prices are based on plain jam and buttercream sponge for all celebration cakes, unless stated in description.  Please advise if you would like an alternative sponge. The cost is 10% extra for chocolate and 15% for carrot cake. 
Also,the price may vary from that displayed on the site due to other factors, such as the size of the cake, number of tiers, decorations used etc. Please contact us to discuss your exact requirements and we will be happy to provide you with a quotation.

Deliveries by Us

Some deliveries can be made by us, normally within the Fylde Coast area. A delivery charge of £5 will be made for cakes within a 15 mile radius of Cleveleys. For distances over 15 miles a charge of 40p per mile will be made to cover our costs. Please contact us and we will be happy to provide a quote.

Terms of Business

    * EntIcing Cakes reserves the right to change prices without notice and maintain a price differential between our shop and any online offers. If you wish to collect any item please ring to confirm prices or you will be charged the then current shop price.
    * ALL goods will be dispatched as soon as possible, And take two to five working days to arrive. Where items are out of stock you will be advised and can decide whether to proceed with the order.
    * Damages or shortages must be notified to EntIcing Cakes within 48 hours of receipt.
    * Should an item develop a fault within its guarantee period, it may be sent back to EntIcing Cakes for repair, with your purchase receipt.
    * When sending back any item the responsibility for the goods is yours until we receive them back. EntIcing Cakes reserves the right to repair or replace any faulty item at their discretion.
    * Please note edible or foodstuff items are non-returnable if opened or used in anyway. Please be sure of what you purchase - if you are in doubt ask us before ordering.
    * EntIcing Cakes shall not be liable for any consequential loss of the customer whether this arises from a breach of contract or any other way.
    * In the event of cancellation we reserve the right to charge a handling fee to cover administrative costs or in some circumstances we may require a non-refundable deposit.
    * EntIcing Cakes total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by EntIcing Cakes to the customer.
    * EntIcing cakes will not be liable for any specific instructions set out in their manual and web site or in any documents accompanying the goods supplied. Every care has been taken to describe and show the goods accurately. Variations may occur in both design and specification as the manufacturers of the items improve their products.
    * Please note pictures are for general illustration only and the product may vary from that shown.
    * The customers statuary rights are not affected by any statement contained in the manual

Special Offer or Sale Items:

 Items offer in a "sale" may have slightly damaged or marked packaging but this in no way impairs their operation unless otherwise noted.

Privacy Policy

    We will use your contact details (your name, job title, telephone and fax number and your e-mail and postal addresses) to provide any services requested by you and also to tell you about important changes to the site and its functionality. These details will be used by us only to provide you with information about other services and products for the same purpose.

Once a cake has been collected from our premises, or we have delivered a cake (and set-up where requested) intact to the venue, we cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake from that point.

Cakes By Post

Only certain cakes are suitable for sending to you by post or courier. We will try and point this out where cakes are displayed on the site. If you are in any doubt please get in touch with us to check.

Hiring of Equipment

Where equipment such cake stands/Tins/water fountain and cup cake stands are hired from us, a refundable deposit must be paid along with your order.

Tin hire = 3 days hire  - £10 per tin deposit   - Late returns will be charged £2  each subsequent  day over .

Cake Stands 3-4 day event  - £70 deposit  - Late returns will be charged £15  each subsequent day over.

Cup Cake stands  23 cup cakes - £20 deposit-  Late returns will be charged £5 each subsequent day over.

Perspex cup cake stands Various sizes   - £70-£100 deposit - Late returns will be charged £15 - £35 each subsequent day over.

Water fountain  - £100 deposit  - Late returns willl be charged £35 each subsequent day over.

The deposit will be refunded once we have received the equipment back intact, undamaged and within the agreed time limit. Please see more details on what can be hired and prices in the Equipment Hire section.
